Wedding bliss in Bremer Bay

Every so often you shoot a wedding that ends up having a special place in your heart, this was one of those weddings!

From my first chat with Chris and Chrissy, I could tell they were my kind of people. Chilled and down to earth. Nothing phased them and they were planning on a super small wedding with close family and relaxed vibes. They had hired out the most amazing venue, Casa Lejano (Seriously-check this place out here) a Spanish style villa perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the water.

The home was beautifully decorated, with many interesting artworks and bits and bobs spread all over the home. It was the perfect spot for a cosy wedding!

There were hardly any nerves as Chris and Chrissy both got ready. Chrissy's gown was simple, elegant and beautiful.

The ceromony took place outside overlooking the ocean as the sun crept across the sun before us. Down below surfers lazed in the bay waiting for their next wave to come. Gulls and swallows tended to their nest buried in the scrub along the cliff edge. It was beautiful.

When the sun was almost set, we headed down to a beach to snap some shots. The sky was bubblegum pink and the water baby blue. Bremer was really putting on a show for us!

After returning to the house, Chris and Chrissy insisted I sit and enjoy dinner with them. Sitting on the long table with them and their family, we felt like old friends. We enjoyed a Mexican themed feast catered by a local company, which was delicious!
